About us

We are Jón Hinrik Höskuldsson and Kirstine Nørgaard Sejersen, furniture and product designers based in Copenhagen. Together, we’ve founded our own design studio to dive deeper into the exploration of bio-based materials and to refine the techniques we developed during our master’s thesis, a year long project that initially brought us together. We believe designers must redefine material use for sustainability, and we aim to create functional, aesthetically pleasing products that push the boundaries of sustainable materials and inspire industry change.

Our diverse backgrounds is crucial in our work. Kirstine, with her expertise in material-driven design and experimental methods, leads the initial phases of material composition and process development. Jón Hinrik, with his experience in carpentry and furniture design, contributes to the design’s appeal and structural integrity.
